Our DB 4 Youth program is diverse in its representation of age, ethnicity, socioeconomic level, and geographic location. Youth are encouraged to engage in social, educational and cultural activities which help make Diamond Bar and surrounding communities a better and stronger place to live.

In this photo we see middle grade students creating a garden at Quail Summit Elementary.
The Fields for Kids Program raises funds to provide more sports facilities for the youth. For decades the City of Diamond Bar has had a shortage of sports fields for football, soccer, baseball and other sports activities. This not only means coaches and players have limited access to available fields for practices and games, but also kids are getting less exercise than they would if we had more fields. Help us solve this problem.

Diamond Bar Community Foundation awards grants to organizations that serve the Diamond Bar community and focus on the city’s cultural, recreational or social needs. This includes education, performing arts, and sports, in addition to food distribution for those in need, customary holidays and safety.
The Run-Walk Program educates, inspires and helps keep everyone in the community healthy. People optimize their aerobic gains of running and walking by learning proper ways to warm up and cool down to recover faster and prevent injury. This is a family health program that attracts all ages groups and builds relationships.

What People Are Saying

Being a resident for over twenty years in the City of Diamond Bar while raising four children, the Diamond Bar Community Foundation has always supported my family's extra curricular activities. From DB4 Youth sports programs to DBC Photo Contests and Concert in The Parks. During this pandemic social gatherings were discouraged and hen the concerts were reintroduced it was the kick start to my family regaining fellowship with our neighbors and the start of healing from the pandemic. I am truly grateful for Diamond Bar Community Foundation and the support for all city activities they have constantly supported.

Martin Nakaishi

The genius of Diamond Bar Community Foundation is the goodness it creates also blends into surrounding areas to help them as well. All the programs and events the organization provides push community standards upward for what type of mutual relationship you should expect with all of your extended neighbors. Whether you go to the grocery store, school play to watch the kids perform, or anywhere in the city, you’re almost guaranteed to bump into someone you met in a Diamond Bar Community Foundation program or event

Johnny Manley

My kid has really awesome friends from all different cultural backgrounds and I feel like kids are growing up experiencing things that help eliminate old barriers. The Diamond Bar Community Foundation plays a huge factor in the positive opportunities the kids have to learn more about their peers through programs that, for example, show you how to live healthy, learn a musical instrument, and give kids the chance to care about what’s happening around them.
