Deon Edwards is the creator and owner of, including the domain name, the physical website, all its subdomains, and the content. Deon Edwards was entitled to be paid by Diamond Bar Community Foundation for the money he put toward the hard costs of building the website as he created it, but the organization did NOT do so. This creative work, physical product and website remain active solely as an act of community service by Deon Edwards to benefit community residents.

The DB4Youth Program is a collaboration with the City Of Diamond Bar with a direct mission to create opportunities for Diamond Bar youth which promote building a community through our diversity by a variety of fun activities.

Story Behind DB4Youth

In January of 2007, the Youth Master Plan Community Collaborative led by the City of Diamond Bar’s Recreation Department, brought together youth from all over the City to form this youth leadership board. The youth were chosen by school district staff, City staff and the youth themselves. The first meeting brought 20 students together from three middle schools and two high schools.

This group of youth formed DB 4 Youth “In Action”, a youth leadership group for youth by youth. The youth worked together to create the name and mission statement. The number 4 represents 4 pillars; Opportunity, Diversity, Community and Activities. The youth created this statement to incorporate the four pillars.

Today there are over 120 members and still growing. DB 4 Youth “In Action” is visible all over the City in many different ways. Everything from working with the Diamond Bar Community Foundation to participating in Relay for Life, DB 4 Youth “In Action” is committed to making the community better for youth.

DB 4 Youth “In Action” was recognized as the Award of Excellence Winner 2007, Recreation and Community Services Awards – Division Youth Development

What People Say About The Program

Being a resident for over twenty years in the City of Diamond Bar while raising four children, the Diamond Bar Community Foundation has always supported my family's extra curricular activities. From DB4 Youth sports programs to DBC Photo Contests and Concert in The Parks. During this pandemic social gatherings were discouraged and hen the concerts were reintroduced it was the kick start to my family regaining fellowship with our neighbors and the start of healing from the pandemic. I am truly grateful for Diamond Bar Community Foundation and the support for all city activities they have constantly supported.
